Andy has informed us that there is a filming notice detailing the closure of the Queensway Bridge for the filming of Revenge of The Fallen on 8/26 and 8/27 in downtown Long Beach, including:
“precision driving..with car stunts and EXPLOSIONS…”
There are also parking lots set up around Pacific and 4th streets downtown which could be the locations for keeping the vehicles.

Thanks Andy!
Flickr user bruxhina also reports that Chinese signs have gone up around the area:
Day 6 (8/26): Suddenly Long Beach has been transformed into little China, with street signs in Chinese. No worries, it’s all Hollywood.

Just coming back from lunch to work (golden shore) in long beach. Being pulled on a flatbed truck was a big, black F-150-type truck, huge wheels. On the back tailgate was the transformers logo. The truck was massive and looked very cool.
If anyone has pictures from the filming, feel free to send them in:

I just looked this up after a GIANT EXPLOSION happened outside my apartment on W. Ocean Blvd. All I see is smoke. Scared the crap out of me. I wish someone would have gave us a filming notification of tons of helicopters flying next to our building and EXPLOSIONS!

Sorry…the lots around 4th and Pacific are just for a lame CSI:Miami shoot, though the Bentley and Lamborghini parked on Pine Ave. are kinda cool.
I live downtown on Ocean Blvd, I will tell you with the explosions in the middle of the night it is crazy, I am actually interested in seeing this movie now thou.
It’s obviously what I am looking for , very great information , cheer!
