… and there is no better way to mark it than with a dented, busted up Lamborghini. A Murcielago (which translates to Bat) to be precise.
Pictures thanks to rory_bat; he is now heading back to the East Coast, whilst Batman’s filming schedule takes them to England. Filming is set to continue until November.
SuperHeroHype recently sat down with Morgan Freeman to talk Dark Knight (and Wanted):
CS/SHH!: What were your experiences like working on the Batman sequel?
Freeman: The sequel. Alec Guinness remarked one time that he made more money on those two [Star Wars] movies that he was just featured in than he’d made in his whole career and had little or nothing to do. That’s what it’s like.
CS/SHH!: Have you finished your part?
Freeman: I haven’t finished. I’ve got one more day. I travel all the way to Hong Kong to do it.
Whilst at the other end of the internet spectrum Aint it Cool’s Capone met Christian Bale. It’s an interesting read with this little detail coming at the end of it,
Q: Are you almost done filming [DARK KNIGHT]? How much longer are you going to be working on it?
B: No, we’re going until November. It’s a seven-month shoot.
After the big explosion, little else can impress us now, however filming continued for at least one more day in Chicago, with Bruce Wayne’s Lamborghini being spotted kitted up and driving around. Two sets of pictures are out there, the first comes via draperyfalls,
Secondly, chgojobs had this pull right out in front of him:
He carried on to follow the action and captured this video:
Discuss the feed and explosion in this topic. This topic will have all the latest up to date details and screenshots about the chopper and building’s status.
You cannot beat this angle. As this is live you may tune in to see the chopper sitting still at it’s heliport whilst it refuels, etc: this is a nice lake shot. However it has been encircling the building to be demolished with some nice zooming in and out which has revealed some practice evacuation scenes. As per usual, this live feed will obviously contain spoilers.
Hollywood Chicago have posted the latest time frame they have for the implosion:
Wednesday, Aug. 29 or Thursday, Aug. 30 if Wednesday is rained out. The time is “critical for the cameras to get the best lighting on the scene,” my source says. It is now scheduled to be between 11:50 a.m. and 12:55 p.m. on Wednesday or on Thursday if Wednesday isn’t the day. My source says “heavy traffic due to street closures” should be expected.
Rory_bat has returned from this weekends Dark Knight filming fiasco and with him he has brought treats aplenty. We have 44 shots including close up photography of Gary Oldman being directed, the memorial podium, gunmen on the roof, Gotham PD sleeping on the job and a horse’s backside.
In full motion video we have a scene captured from the memorial service, it’s contents can be considered a spoiler,
We also have a video that shows Gary Oldman preparing for a scene on The Dark Knight set,
