In the french show “La Minute” from AlloCiné, there is a very brief Heath Ledger inter­view. Within he men­tions how much fun play­ing the joker has been and how the expe­ri­ence as exceeded all of his expectations.

Just a quick note to tell you all that the Offi­cial Dark Knight teaser has been made avail­able on Apple’s Quick­time movie trail­ers ser­vice, in high def and iPod formats.

A num­ber of web­sites (Hor­ror Movies, Movies Online) are report­ing that the Gears of War movie is being fast tracked into pro­duc­tion with­out a named direc­tor, with some spec­u­la­tion that this is as a result of pend­ing strike action in Hollywood.

If this is the case a direc­tor will more than likely be named in the com­ing month. Len Wise­man maybe?

The UK pub­li­ca­tion “Nuts” (NSFW) pre­dom­i­nantly for males, has report­edly been talk­ing with Chris­t­ian Bale, so our reader Pablo tells us,

In the lat­est edi­tion of Nuts mag­a­zine ( UK ) there is an inter­view with Chris­t­ian Bale, in which he states he‘s in the run­ning to play Solid Snake in the 2009 movie Metal Gear Solid.

This is noth­ing more than a rumor at the moment, and Nuts isn’t well known for its news­wor­thi­ness. Let’s see how this one evolves.

RUMOR has it that Alex Garland’s treat­ment of the Halo sub­ject has been leaked onto the inter­net, via Bit­Tor­rent in a PDF for­mat. At least this is the case made by 1Up. They claim that the script itself, found via one of their forum mem­bers, shows a num­ber of par­al­lels with the Latino Script review from Decem­ber 2005 (back when the movie was in development).

1Up have pasted some pages from the script show­ing the intro­duc­tion and intended finale and setup for a sequel. Warn­ing, SPOILERS herein.

This ver­sion has since been aban­doned, pro­duc­tion instead opt­ing for a rewrite by D.B.Weiss.
