This fan made preview is probably better than the actual movie is going to
be. At the very least, it’s truer to the source material.

Truly, I had never considered NF as GL, even though I loved him in Firefly, Serenity and several other projects. But after seeing this trailer, I cannot imagine any other actor in the role. NF is perfect, and thanks to the incredibly imaginative and talented Mr. Pitts for showing me the (greeen) light. I suppose that the real producers will now have to distance themselves from Pitts’ vision and his casting suggestions. That would be a crying shame. It is rare when something so … aesthetically and artistically RIGHT … as this trailer comes along. To ignore it and go a different way would be to waste some of the best creativity I have seen in a long, long time. I have been waiting to see Green Lantern on the movie screen since the 1960s, and it will hard not to be disappointed by any realization that does not resonate as much as Mr. Pitts’ does. However the chips fall, I hope that Jaron Pitts has a wonderful future in film. This trailer is a hell of a calling card.

wow that was very well done and i could actually see nathan fillon as GL he has the right amount of hero/starpower and the smartarsey-ness to pull it off
