The Dark Knight at Apple September 17th, 2007

Just a quick note to tell you all that the Official Dark Knight teaser has been made available on Apple’s Quicktime movie trailers service, in high def and iPod formats.

Batman Tidbits September 8th, 2007

Here are a couple of interesting things from through-out this week. First up, Yahoo have posted the voice-over Dark Knight teaser video in high definition, here’s the link.

Here is another Gotham explosion video via YouTube:

Over at the SHH forums Big Engine posted up some inside pictures of the Cardington Hangers in the UK, to be used as the setting for a fight scene:

And some SWAT stunt footage via Lexwalk (warning the description of this video and the video itself can be considered a bit spoilerish):

Meanwhile, Maggie Gyllenhaal has been doing some modelling for Agent Provocateur.

And have a good weekend folks!

Dark Knight Apparel on show September 8th, 2007

The MAGIC apparel industry show in Las Vegas this year had a Dark Knight stand, sporting some juicy clothing items. Kung Fu Radio were there to cover the Dark Knight booth.

Here are some of their snapped shots:

The Dark Knight’s Lamborghini Crash September 8th, 2007

One lucky flickr user, carscomeditor, was on scene with camera to witness the Murcielago accident.

Check out the flickr gallery for a couple more pictures.

The end of the Chicago shoot September 2nd, 2007

… and there is no better way to mark it than with a dented, busted up Lamborghini. A Murcielago (which translates to Bat) to be precise.

Pictures thanks to rory_bat; he is now heading back to the East Coast, whilst Batman’s filming schedule takes them to England. Filming is set to continue until November.

Morgan Freeman and Christian Bale Interviews August 31st, 2007

SuperHeroHype recently sat down with Morgan Freeman to talk Dark Knight (and Wanted):

CS/SHH!: What were your experiences like working on the Batman sequel?
Freeman: The sequel. Alec Guinness remarked one time that he made more money on those two [Star Wars] movies that he was just featured in than he’d made in his whole career and had little or nothing to do. That’s what it’s like.

CS/SHH!: Have you finished your part?
Freeman: I haven’t finished. I’ve got one more day. I travel all the way to Hong Kong to do it.

Whilst at the other end of the internet spectrum Aint it Cool’s Capone met Christian Bale. It’s an interesting read with this little detail coming at the end of it,

Q: Are you almost done filming [DARK KNIGHT]? How much longer are you going to be working on it?
B: No, we’re going until November. It’s a seven-month shoot.

August 30th and Bruce Wayne’s Lamborghini August 31st, 2007

After the big explosion, little else can impress us now, however filming continued for at least one more day in Chicago, with Bruce Wayne’s Lamborghini being spotted kitted up and driving around. Two sets of pictures are out there, the first comes via draperyfalls,

Secondly, chgojobs had this pull right out in front of him:

He carried on to follow the action and captured this video:

Also, CNN have a new explosive video.

The Dark Knight Explosion Part 2 August 30th, 2007

Lots of footage and reports from the scene, I thought I would provide a second post with some alternate angles and stunning photography.

Firstly, City Eyes has captured some beautiful shots of the explosion:

Dark Knight Explosion

The Dark Knight Implosion

Dark Knight Building Demolition

Check out more of his photography at either his blog or his flickr gallery. (Pre demolition pictures)

And here is another video from the ground:
