“I’m a man of my word. I guarantee everyone here is going to die tonight.”
So says Hollywood Chicago’s description of The Dark Knight teaser (via projectionist Francis Farmer) … which is different to SuperHeroHype’s previous report. The cause? Hollywood Chicago claims that there will be two separate videos, one for The Simpsons, another for Comic-Con.
Here is their full trailer description:
It was just the new Batman logo for 50 seconds with light rays slowly destroying it. There was dialogue between Batman and Alfred.
The last line is: “Some people just want to watch the world burn.” When the logo gets destroyed, its last piece flies toward the camera, turns and has a Joker card on it.
Bruce Wayne says something about “they crossed a line this time”. Alfred says: “They put all their hopes in a man they didn’t understand.”
Joker says something like: “I’m a man of my word. I guarantee everyone here is going to die tonight.”
This is classified as a rumor. Not long left now.

I was in downtown Chitown the other night 7–26 and noticed all the streets closed near the CBOT building and then keep walking and saw an armoured truck with yellow lettering saying Gotham Police Department, its front end was smashed up like it had been in a wreck, then I went a bit farther and saw this Tractor Trailer Truck with Hyams Amusement Rides labeled on it. It had a slogan on the side “Laughter is the best medicine” BUT WAIT A MINUTE It also had a SPRAYPAINTED RED S in front of the L or Laughter. Could it be that the JOKER had painted that RED S in front. YES, It all comes together that the Joker Has Been in Chitown, Now transformed into Gotham City for the “Dark Knight to make another debut. Then as I rounded the corner and looked back at the CBOT building,it was all illuminated with extra lighting, It really had that Gotham City look to it. Ahh, What a cool feeling to know that I live in “Gotham City”.

We didnt know what movie it was in, but we got a picture with it just in case it was from a famous movie… what do you know! My friend and I were like “AWESOME” when we saw it in the movie !
